Afghanistan will face Bangladesh in their first game at the SAFF Suzuki Cup 2015 on 24th December.

The Afghanistan National Football Team players are driven to defend their title and etch their name on the cup for a second time. The national squad came together in Kabul on December 10th to kick off their training sessions ahead of the tournament. They had their first two training sessions in Kabul and headed to Qatar on December 12 for a 10 day training camp before arriving in India, host nation for the 2015 SAFF games.

This year, ten RAPL players have also joined the national team and will have the chance to play in the SAFF games. They represent the best of RAPL and come from different teams: Mustafa Afshar of De Maiwand Atalan; Rohid Samandari and Abdullah Abdali of De Spinghar Bazan; Fardin Hakimi, Fardin Kohistani, and Said Mohammad Hashimi of Shaheen Asmayee; Qismat Ahmadi and Mahboob Kakar of Mawjhai Amu; Abdulhaq Timori of Toofan Harirod; and Anwar Akbari of Oqaban Hindukosh.

The bustling coastal city of Trivandrum in India will be the venue for the 2015 South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Championship from 23rd December 2015 to 3rd January 2016.
