The 2015 RAPL’s Women’s Tournament kicked off today with an opening match between Team Kabul and Team Bamiyan. During the first half Kabul proved that despite several transfers of key players, they are still easily the most fearsome team in the women’s division, scoring 7 goals to 0 against Bamiyan. Averaging a goal every five minutes, Kabul’s Madina scored three goals, Nilab scored two goals and Samia and Adela contributed one goal each over the course of the 1st half Bruised and battered but determined to fight on to the bitter end, Bamiyan entered the second half down seven goals to nothing against Kabul. But Team Bamiyan lost several of their best players to injury over the second half, including Jamila, Zahra, Aadila, Karishma and Team Kabul soon resumed their relentless attack on Bamiyan’s goal. Kabul’s Madina scored two goals and Nilab scored one goal to end the game 10 – 0 in Team Kabul’s overwhelming favor.
