The 2016 Roshan Afghan Premier League (RAPL) champions, Shaheen Asmayee will initiate another comeback attempt against F.C Hosilot of Tajikistan in the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Cup 2017 on February 07, 2017. The second play-off match will be kicked-off in the Republican Central Stadium of Dushanbe at 4:30 p.m. Kabul time.

Shaheen was not fortunate to boost the team’s playoff hopes after they conceded 1-0 their fist-leg game to F.C Hosilot on 31 January, 2017.  Despite the advantages that Shaheen had, the players failed to capitalize on a number of chances or blown apart the closely contested game in their favor.

Shaheen has the chance to push their illustrious opponents all the way and escalate to the AFC Cup 2017 group stage. However, they should keep their bar unbeaten and assure a 2-0 triumph over F.C Hosilot on Tuesday, February 07, 2017.

Shaheen Asmayee players are conducting their comprehensive preparations in Dushanbe, Tajikistan to avoid any regret in the coming match.

“There are no concerns about Kawash, he is back to exercise and is good and well-prepared,” said Zia Aria, the Deputy Commissioner of RAPL. “The team’s spirit and motivation is appreciable. All are keen to compensate the shortage and put their final effort to defeat the opponents,” he added. Chances are high for Shaheen to overcome the deficit-one goal- and win the upcoming away game.

“Yasin has arrived to Dushanbe from Kabul to replace Hamidullah Yousufzai, the team’s second goalkeeper, who suffered from injury and Yasin has started his preparation under trainer’s close supervision,” Aria stated.

“Together, all the players are hopeful and committed to cling to a stunning win over F.C Hosilot in the second play-off match on Tuesday,” said Aria.

The game will be kicked-off on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. Kabul time.
