The first electrifying semi-finals game of Roshan Afghan Premier League (RAPL) 2016 took place between Kabul favorites, Shaheen Asmayee, and Simorgh Alborz at the Afghanistan Football Federation (AFF) stadium. Shaheen Asmayee ended the game in its favor by remarkable achievement, scoring eight goals.
Though Shaheen Asmayee started the pitch with confidence at its home, Simorgh Alborz seemed eager to put the first impression by scoring the opening just on six minutes, Monirul Haq Nadim put Simorgh ahead. The first goal inspired the team to put more struggles and conduct attacks. However, after only two minutes, Shaheen dragged off the opportunity for Simorgh by netting an equalizer. The equalizer fizzed out the energy of Simorgh while the rival took an impressive lead at AFF.
Shaheen Asmayee, astonishingly, netted five goals in the first-half, smashing the opponent’s moral. Samiullah, Hamid, Amrudin, Hussain, and Amanullah Sardari scored the goals for Shaheen.
Simorgh’s misery did not end here; they entered the ground in the second-half to initiate attempts for recovering the deficit. Nonetheless, it could not seal its bar of feisty strikes and ended up in defensive tempo.
Shaheen was not satisfy with five goals and kept looking for more goals. On 48, 63, and 73 minutes, Reza Allahyari, Amrudin Sharifi, and Samiullah Mohammadi scored the other three goals for Shaheen respectively, etching an 8-1 result on the score board.
The game statistics reveal a dominant 62% position by Kabul’s favorites, Shaheen Asmayee, over northern zone.
Shaheen will face Simorgh in an away game later on Sunday, September 25, 2016.
