On the third day of the 8th group stage competitions of the Afghan Premier League, the young team of Mawjhai Amu competed De Maiwand Atalan. De Maiwand Atalan launched an offensive game creating several opportunities on the opponent’s goal in the first half but failed to counter the Mawjhai Amu. On the other hand, Khan Mohammed Soroush of Mawjhai Amu with a superb performance in the 35th minute changed the game with a goal and ended the game 1-0 in favor of his team in the first half.

In the early minutes of the second half, De Maiwand Atalan side continued to play with substitution of one of their best forwards, Faiz Mohammad Faizi.

In the end, with the beautiful goal scored by Wahidullah Nawrozi, in the 73rd minute, the game was equalized 1-1.

The game ended 1-1 and Mawjhai Amu’s goalkeeper Mahboobullah Kakar was named the best player of the match for his extraordinary performance.
