108 players of Kandahar Zone played in 6 teams under the supervision of experienced and qualified coaches from the AFF, from which 26 best players were selected for De Maiwand Atalan team. In the RAPL 2012, De Maiwand Atalan team played really well and reached to the Semi-finals.
