80 players of Jalalabad Zone played in 4 teams under the supervision of experienced and qualified coaches from the AFF, from which 26 best players were selected for De Spinghar Bazan team. Moreover, for the first time in Afghan soccer history, Afghan refugees living in Pakistan were given the opportunity to fly back to Jalalabad in order to showcase their talent and be part of De Spinghar Bazan team for 2013.
