Hekmatullah Sharipove’smen took an impressive victory over Mawjhai Amu in the second returning game of Roshan Afghan Premier League (RAPL) 2016 semi-final. This is De Maiwand Atalan’s second consecutive win in the semi-finals against its rival, Amu. The match kicked-off at the Afghanistan Football Federation (AFF) stadium.

De Maiwand Atalan maintained their unbeaten start to the pitch as a second-half goal from Abdul Manan Azimi secured a deserved 1-0 domination on 52 minutes. To double the lead, on the 69 minutes, Faiz Faizi rippled the roof of Amu’s net for the second time, marking it 2-0 in favor of Atalan.
Rattling a number of shots at goal, Amu was not lucky to recover the deficit or make any score. Atalan later substituted its strikers with defenders to safeguard the bar.
