Today’s semi finals kicked off with frontrunner SpingharBazan versus De MaiwandAtalan.

Skillful passing by Bazan kept the ball away from Maiwand in the opening moments of the 1st half and forced them to play defensively.

But it didn’t take long for Atalan’s midfielders and their rightwing forward to solve the Bazan puzzle, soon the momentum switched over in Atalan’s favor.

The rest of the 1st half turned into one long assault on the Bazan penalty zone by key Atalan players like SayeedBaqir and Mustafa Afshar. Skillful saves by Bazan’s goalkeeper Ahmad Zohaib kept Bazan in the game and helped see the first half end 0-0

The second half started with Bazan trying to steal away the momentum Atalan built up over the 1st half but Atalan again found ways to pressure Bazan and force the game back around the Bazan penalty zone

Ten minutes into the second half and Atalan’sSayeedBokur finally broke the deadlock at the 50th minute mark, slamming home a goal to bring the score 1 – 0 in favor of Atalan.

After Sayeed’s goal Atalanswitcheed to a defensive style of play, swarming their half of the field and shutting down Bazan’s offensive completely.

As the game approached the 70th and 80th minute marks it became clear that Bazan’s offensive simply didn’t have the energy or will to even the score. At the end of the game clock De MaiwandAtalan took home the victory with a 1 – 0 lead over De SpingharBazan.
