De Spinghar Bazan confidently marches on to the 2015 RAPL semifinals after today's commanding 2-0 win over Oqaban Hindukosh.

The game was full of missed opportunities for Oqaban, which struggled to match Bazan's performance throughout the game. They started with an advancing assault in the opening moments of the first half and were all over Bazan's defense. However, they lacked strong coordination between their strikers and center players and couldn't produce any results.

Bazan maintained an intact defense-line and responded back with potent counterattacks. Bazan's Faqeer Hussain Himati was the man leading one of these counterattacks and broke the deadlock with a powerful strike at 28th minute mark of the game.

Soon after another opportune moment for Bazan was missed by Shafaq Ayubi who couldn't take home a well placed pass coming from Hamid Habibi at 31st minute mark.

The first 45 minutes ended as a frustrated Zamary Salangi made back to back fruitless efforts at Zohib Aseel's goal.

27 minutes into the second half, almost everyone observed a moment of silence at the stadium as Anwar Akbari came close to scoring an equalizer for Oqaban but a hastily and inaccurately fired ball went wide over Bazan's goal.

Ahmad Reshad Hassanzada further solidified Bazan's lead with another goal at 90th minute mark, creating a great ending for Bazan's successful display of high class football at today's game.

Alternatively, Oqaban's substitute in second half Basir Haber was shown a red card by the referee at the stoppage time of the second half and Oqaban disappointedly returned to the tunnel.

Friday's game result between Mawjhai Amu and De Abasin Sape will determine Oqaban's fate in the 2015 RAPL main event.

All of the group stage matches will start at 3:30 pm this season. The matches will broadcast live on TOLO TV, Lemar TV, Arman FM and Arakozai FM.  It will also be watchable on the RAPL YouTube page (www.youtube.com/afghanpremierleague).
