De Abasin Sape and De Spinghar Bazan will have a face-off later today at 3:30 PM at the AFF Stadium. This will be both sides’ second game of the season.
Both have finished their first games with draws and each has been able to secure only one point in the rankings table thus far.
Abasin tied 1-1 with Oqaban Hindukosh with a goal from Mohammad Nawaz and Bazan were able to take home a 2-2 tie with Mawjhai Amu, with Mohammd Fahim Afkar landing both goals from the team.
Today’s winner will be easily able to match their points with group A’s current leader Oqaban.
It is important for both teams at today’s game to pull off a victory for their side to keep alive their prospects of making it to the semifinals.
Abasin has never been able to pass the group stage in the last three RAPL years. Today they will have to do the extra work to prove wrong the low expectations of their fans. Bazan secured the third position in last year’s rankings. This looks a tough year for them to repeat the same track.
