Today, September 02, 2016, the representative of central Kabul, Shaheen Asmayee will compete with De Abasin Sape, representing the eastern region of Afghanistan. This is the sixth pitch of Roshan Afghan Premier League (RAPL) 2016 taking place at the Afghanistan Football Federation (AFF).

This is the second game of the season for Asmayee and Abasin.

Last week, Shaheen Asmayee, one of prominent championship claimers of RAPL 2016, lost the point through a breathtaking competition with Toofan Harirod. Harirod netted two goals, putting doubts on Asmayees’s abilities and skills. Though the team’s performance is not satisfactory to its fans, still Asamayee is committed to clinch advancing to semi-final and final of RAPL 2016.  The team was RAPL 2015 runner-up.

Despite of massive changes in its squad and approaching techniques to the fifth season, De Abasin Sape conceded the game to De Maiwand Atalan, 3-0. Though the team is perceived weak with no remarkable achievements in RAPL series, still Abasin is hopeful to win a title or to be qualified for semi-final of this season. There are six new Kabul players joining the squad.

The matches will be broadcast live on TOLO TV, Lemar TV, Arman FM, and Arakozai FM.  It will also be watchable on the RAPL YouTube page (www.youtube.com/afghanpremierleague). More information about RAPL 2016 and teams can be found on (www.afghanpremierleague.com).
